On the coin obverse in the middle of the circle there is a conventionalized depiction of the sun, left and right, from it, as well as above and beneath it, there are four sunny spheres symbolizing four seasons. Left from the circle there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine, right - 2006, the coin mintage year, Ag 925, the metal designation and 15,55g, its weight; around the coin circumference there are inscriptions: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine) (above), 5 ГРИВЕНЬ (5 Hryvnias) (beneath), as well as the Mint logotype of the National Bank of Ukraine.
