The National Bank of Kazakhstan has put into circulation 50 tenge coin "Sign of Kurmet insignia" from "State awards of Kazakhstan" coin program. Coin is issued in circulation on June 25th 2010.

Diameter – 31 mm, thickness – 2 mm, weight – 11,17 gram

Images and inscriptions of observe and back sides of coins are relief.

The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation.

Averse: The state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan, two-line inscription "50 ТЕҢГЕ". From the right and left side of the denomination there is the element of national ornament. On the circumference there is the legend "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫҚ БАНКI" (National Bank of Kazakhstan).

Reverse: composition of symbols of Victory in the center, dates to the left and to the right ‘1945’ and ‘2010’ mean the year of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and year of coinage, inscription ’65 years of Great Victory’ above and under the principal image in Kazakh ‘ҰЛЫ ЖЕҢІСКЕ 65 ЖЫЛ’ and in Russian ‘65 ЛЕТ ВЕЛИКОЙ ПОБЕДЕ’.

50 thousand pieces are in circulation.
