Obverse: 
at the top – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center against the backdrop of geometric compositions depicted mark of EurAsEC and the inscription EurAsEC; along the rim inscription – "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS); at the bottom – year of issue, (silver coin – alloy standard) and face value "20 РУБЛЁЎ" (20 ROUBLES) – on silver coin and "1 РУБЕЛЬ" (1 ROUBLE) – on copper–nickel coin.
Reverse: 
the reverse side of the coin is divided into two semi. In the right half depicts the historical buildings of the city: the Minsk City Hall, Minsk Holy Spirit Cathedral, Trinity suburb and a symbol of peace – the flying dove. On the left depicts a collage of the buildings residential neighborhood of Minsk, the National Library of Belarus, silhouettes of the monument of F.Skorina and people. At the top of the coin is located relief image of the emblem of Minsk, beneath the inscription: Minsk.
