From December 18, 2008, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has put the collection silver coins of the series "Capitals of the Eurasia Economic Community Countries" with the nominal value of 10 soms into circulation.

Commemorative collection coins "Bishkek" of the series "Capitals of the Eurasia Economic Community Countries" are issued within the framework of the International program on issuance and selling of collection coins made of precious metals of the Eurasia Economic Community Countries. The assembling element of the whole series of collection coins, issued by the central (national banks) of the Eurasia Economic Community Countries, is the emblem of the Eurasia Economic Community.

Each coin is framed by the acrylic capsule and placed in a separate box. A certificate and a booklet with description of the coin are provided.

Obverse: 
The main theme of the coin head is the architecture building of the city on the background of mountains. On the foreground there is an imagery of equestrian statue of Manas and color enameled emblem of the Eurasia Economic Community.
Reverse: 
On the foreground of the reverse coin the Kyrgyz Republic national emblem is presented on the embossed background of the earth's sphere, which is a part of the emblem of the Eurasia Economic Community.
