In accordance with Article 15 of the Law on the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, and pursuant to the Board Resolution N44/2 of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, "On Issuing Coins with Face Values of 1, 10, 50 tyiyns, and 1, 3, and 5 soms" dated October 11, 2007, a collectible coin with a face value of 1 tyiyn, circulation coins with face values of 10, 50 tyiyns, and 1, 3, and 5 soms shall be issued for circulation throughout the Kyrgyz Republic. The circulation coins with face values of 10 tyiyin are made of steel core finished with brass.
Obverse:
The obverse side of the coin bears an image of the flower, which is one of the most well-known and beautiful symbols used in Kyrgyz ornamental art since the ancient time.
Reverse:
The reverse side of the coin bears the Coat of Arms of the Kyrgyz Republic and the year when the coin was issued.
