The National Bank of Ukraine has put into circulation 5 hryvni  "150th anniversary since the death of Taras Shevchenko" coin on April 29th, 2011.

Face value of new "150th anniversary since the death of Taras Shevchenko" coin is 5 hryvni , metal - Nickel silver, weight 16.54 g, diameter 35 mm, brilliant uncirculated quality. Mintagage 35 000 pcs. Coin is minted at the Mint of National Bank of Ukraine.
