The National Bank of Kazakhstan has put into circulation 500 tenge coins "Mohamed Ali", "Omar Ali Saifuddin" and "Taj-ul-Masjid" under The world famous mosques coin series on July 8th, 2011.
Obverse of the coins:In the center the composition symbolizing entrance into Islam sanctuary consisting of image of arch and heraldic spiral. In the lower part "500 TENGE" means face value of the coin. To the right of the figures there is an inscription "Au 999". On the circumference there are name of the issuing authority in Kazakh "ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ", logotype of National Bank of Kazakhstan, year of coinage“2011”, and trade mark of Kazakhstan mint.
Reverse of Mohamed Ali: an image of Mоhamed Ali mosque (Cairo, Egypt) in the center, along the circumference in the upper part indicates an inscription «MОHAMED ALI», in the lower part - «CAIRO» in English language.
Reverse of Omar Ali Saifuddin coin: an image of Omar Ali Saifuddin mosque (Brunei) in the center, along the circumference in the upper part indicates an inscription «OMAR ALI SAIFUDDIN», in the lower part - «BRUNEI» in English language.
Reverse of Taj-ul-Masjid coin: an image of Taj-Ul mosque (India) in the center, along the circumference in the upper part indicates an inscription «TAJ-UL», in the lower part - «BHOPAL» in English language.
