Fragment of a Diadem
Date of issue: September 6, 2008. Images and legends are relief. Lateral surface is smooth without corrugation and inscriptions.
Obverse:
Obverse: two-line inscription of the fase value "500 ТЕҢГЕ", Kazakhstan Mint trademark, image of four galloping horsemen, vertical inscription "Ag 925 31,1gr." i.e. metal, fineness and weight of the coin. Along the perimeter of the coin wide edging the name of the issuing bank in Kazakh "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" and in English "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN" divided by dots.
Reverse:
Reverse: gilded image of old gold agglutinate fragment of a diadem. The name of the coin in Kazakh (ДИАДЕМА БӨЛІГІ) and in English (FRAGMENT OF A DIADEM) above and under the image. Along the perimeter of the coin wide edging the name of the series in Kazakh "КӨШПЕНДІЛЕР АЛТЫНЫ" and in English "THE GOLD OF NOMADS" with year of coinage 2008 divided by dots.
