This book presents brief histories of the various Latvian Army units that existed from the beginning of the War of Independence to the liquidation of the Latvian Army in 1940. It contains 496 pages which illustrate 419 army breast badges. In addition there are no less than 600 illustrations of associated items such as documents, photographs, trophy cups, watch fobs, cigarette cases, etc. At the end of the book is an illustrated catalogue of all the breast badges.
