The National Bank of Ukraine has put into circulation 5 hryvnen "Mikhail Yangel" coin on October 7th, 2011.

Mikhail Kuzmich Yangel (Михаил Кузьмич Янгель in Russian) (October 25 (O.S.: November 7), 1911 - October 25, 1971), was a leading missile designer in the Soviet Union.

Face value of new "Oleksandr Bogomoletz" coin is 5 hryven, metal - silver, purity 0.925, weight 15.55 g, diameter 33 mm, proof quality. Mintagage 5 000 pcs.

Coin is minted at the Mint of National Bank of Ukraine.
