The National Bank of Kazakhstan has put into circulation 50 and 500 tenge coins named "Aitys". Coins are from "Customs, national games of Kazakhstan" series. Coins issued in circulation on October 18th 2011.

50 tenge CuNi coin.
Face value: 50 tenge;

Diameter – 31 mm, thickness – 2 mm, weight – 11,17 gram;

Obverse: State Emblem of Kazakhstan against ornamental background; face value of the coin "50 ТЕҢГЕ"; two legends in Kazakh "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" and in Russian "РЕСПУБЛИКА КАЗАХСТАН".

Reverse: Aitys between a girl and a dzhigit; name of the coin in Kazakh «АЙТЫС», “2011” means the year of coinage; trade mark of Kazakhstan Mint.

The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation;

Face value: 500 tenge;

Quality: proof, metal - silver 0.925;

Diameter – 38.61 mm, weight – 31,1 gram;

Mintage: 4000 pcs.
