An inscription «2011» indicating the Year is below the image of the State Emblem.

Reverse of the coin: At centre a portrait M.V. Lomonosov. From left to right inscription: "М.В. ЛОМОНОСОВ - 300 ЛЕТ" (M.V. LOMONOSOV - 300 YEARS). On the right a branch. At the left book and pen.
