The National Bank of Kazakhstan has put into circulation 500 tenge silver coin "Elk’s Head" from “Gold of Nomads” series on October 29th, 2011.
Averse: Face value of the coin "500 ТЕҢГЕ"; the trademark of Kazakhstan Mint; the image of four galloping horsemen; "Ag 925 31,1gr." means metal, standard of coinage and weight; two inscriptions "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" and "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN".
Reverse: The gilded image of the buckle in the form of elk head; the name of the coin in Kazakh «БҰЛАННЫҢ БАСЫ» and in English «ELK?S HEAD»; the heraldic spiral; two legends "КӨШПЕНДІЛЕР АЛТЫНЫ" and "THE GOLD OF NOMADS"; “2011” means the year of coinage.
Images and legends are relief. Lateral surface is smooth without corrugation and inscriptions.
