Chingiz Khan

Date of issue 31 May 2008. Genghis Khan (1162[2]–1227), born Temüjin, was the founder, Khan (ruler) and Khagan (emperor) of the Mongol Empire, the largest contiguous empire in history. He came to power by uniting many of the nomadic tribes of northeast Asia. After founding the Mongol Empire and being proclaimed "Genghis Khan", he started the Mongol invasions and raids of the Kara-Khitan Khanate, Caucasus, Khwarezmid Empire, Western Xia and Jin dynasties. During his life, the Mongol Empire eventually occupied a substantial portion of Central Asia.

Obverse: 
In the central part of the obverse there is an image of state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan with number "100" and inscription "TENGE", which indicate face value of the coin, the image of warrior prancing on a horse, trade mark of Kazakhstan Mint and number "2008" indicates the year of coinage. Circling the coin there are salient edging and inscription «ҚАЗАҚСТАН ҰЛТТЫҚ БАНКІ» in Kazakh language and "NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN" in English. Inscriptions are separated with dots.
Reverse: 
In the center of the reverse side there is an image of CHINGIZ KHAN on horseback with warrior encirclement “painting fragment by A. Duzelchanov”. On circumference there are inscriptions «CHINGIZ KHAN» in English, his date of birth and death «1162 - 1227» and «Ag 925 31,1 gr.» means metal, standard of coinage and weight.
