On December 29th, 2011 the National Bank of Belarus issued the silver and gold commemorative coins “Hedgehog" as well silver commemorative coin "Hedgehogs".

Silver "Hedgehog" coin is of the 20 rubles denomination, the 999 standard of alloy, weight of 31,1 grams, 38,61mm in diameter; mintage 4000 pcs;
Gold "Hedgehog" coin is of 50 rubles denomination; the 999 standard of alloy, the weight of 7.78 grams, 25mm in diameter; mintage 1000 pcs.
Silver "Hedgehogs" coin is of the 20 rubles denomination, the 999 standard of alloy, weight of 31,1 grams, 38,61mm in diameter; mintage 4000 pcs;

Coins are round. The rim is raised on both sides of the coin. The edge of the coins is redded. The coins are of the "proof" quality. Coins are minted at the B.H. Mayer’s Kunstprageanstalt GmbH, Karlsfeld (Germany). All coins are legal means of payment in Belarus.
