Baiturrahman Mosque

Date of issue 28 March 2008. Mesjid Raya Baiturrahman is a large mosque located in the center of the city of Banda Aceh, Aceh province, Indonesia. It is of great symbolic significance to the Acehnese people as a symbol of Acehnese religion and culture, especially since it survived the devastating 2004 tsunami intact.

Obverse: 
Obverse: In the center the composition symbolizing entrance into Islam sanctuary consisting of image of arch and heraldic spiral.  In the lower part "100 TENGE" means face value of the coin. To the right of the figures there is an inscription "Ag 925".  On the circumference there are legends "NATIONAL BANK OF KAZAKHSTAN", logotype of National Bank of Kazakhstan, sign and “•2006•”, which means the year of coinage and trade mark of Kazakhstan mint.
