Obverse: 
On the face of the coin (averse), on its upper side the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located and under it there is a two-line inscription "50 ТЕҢГЕ". From the right and left side of the denomination there is the element of national ornament. On the circumference there is the legend "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫҚ БАНКI" (National Bank of Kazakhstan).
Reverse: 
There is episode of national horse game «Қыз қуу» (Catch up girl).  The upper part indicates an inscription «ҚЫЗ ҚУУ» in Kazakh language, in lower part “2008” means year of coinage.
