National Bank of Ukraine from July 5th, introduced commemorative coin 10 hryvni "80th Anniversary of Donetsk Oblast". The commemorative coin is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Donetsk oblast - the mighty industrial heart of the state, the land with unique natural resources and a high industrial potential, where talented and hardworking people live.

Coin of 10 hryvni is made of silver 925-quality "proof". The mass of metal in purity - 31.1 grams, diameter - 38.6 mm. Circulation coin - 5 thousand. pcs. Edge of the coin is smooth with embossed symbols on the Periodic Table of the metal (Ag), its fineness, weight and purity of the logo of the Mint.

Obverse: above there are the Small Coat of Arms of Ukraine and the semicircular legend НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ (National Bank of Ukraine); beneath there is indicated the coin face value ДЕСЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ (ten hryvnias); to the left there is the coin issue year 2012. In the center there is depicted a fragment of the Donetsk oblast flag against the background of the oblast outline map.

Reverse: there are depicted figures of a metallurgist, miner and agricultural workwoman against the background of the oblast industrial landscape; to the right - the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral in the city of Donetsk; above there is the semicircular inscription ДОНЕЦЬКА ОБЛАСТЬ (Donetsk Oblast) with the coat of arms of the oblast and legend 80 РОКІВ (80 years) thereunder.
