According to the Decision of the Board of the National Bank of Tajikistan, metal coins «Somoni» denomination of 1 Somoni and metal coins "diram" denomination of 5,10, 20, 50 diram issue of 2011 have the right of parallel circulation with the coins of similar advantage of issue 2001 and 2006.
