New Kazakhstan coins Faisal Mosque and Zahir Mosque

National Bank of Kazakhstan issued commemorative gold coins "Faisal" and "Zahir" under "Famous Mosques of the World" coin series on August 24th 2012.

Commemorative gold coins have identical image of the obverse. The image contains arch symbolizing the entrance to the Islamic holy places, and heraldic spiral inscription "500 TEҢGE" indicating the denomination of the coin. In the right is the inscription “Au 999” indicating sample of metal of the coin. Along the rim is inscription "Kazakhstan Ulttyk BANKІ" in the official language, the logo of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the number "2012" indicates the year of minting and the trademark of Kazakhstan Mint.

Reverse of the Faisal coin: On central part there is an image against the mounting background of the «Faisal» mosque. Along the circumference in the upper part indicates an inscription «FAISAL», in the lower part - «ISLAMABAD» in English language.

Reverse of the Zafir coin: On central part there is an image against the mounting background of the «Zahir» mosque. Along the circumference in the lower part indicates an inscription «ZAHIR» in English language.
