The commemorative coin symbolizes Artsakh with its historic churches, mountains, freedom-loving and proud people. The coin is issued by the Central Bank of Armenia at the suggestion of the State Defence Committee of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh. The number of coins is 5000. Each coin is of face value of 25 Dram and contains 1 troy ounce (31.1 gr.) of 999 0pure fine silver with diameter 38 mm.
