The National Bank of Belarus on October 23rd, 2012 puts into circulation new silver and CuNi commemorative coins “Fatherhood". Coins are from Slavs' Family Traditions Series.

The “Slav’s Traditions” is a series of beautiful silver commemorative coins dedicated to the major Slavic customs. Each coin depicts a custom and a symbol characteristic for an important, breakthrough period in life. The issuer of the series is the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, and the manufacturer and distributor is the Mint of Poland. “Maternity” is the fourth coin in the series which previously featured the following coins: “Wedding”, “Housewarming”, “Christening”, “Coming of Age” and "Maternity"

Face value of the silver coin is 20 rubles, purity 925, weight 33.63 g, diameter 38.61 mm, briliant uncirculated quality. Mintage 10000 pcs.
Face value of the CuNi coin is 1 ruble, weight 13.16 g, diameter 32 mm, briliant uncirculated quality. Mintage 2000 pcs.
