New Ukrainian coin Kacha - history of Fatherland aviation

The National Bank of Ukraine has put into circulation 5 hryvnen "Kacha - history of Fatherland aviation" coin on November 22nd, 2012.

Face value of new "Kacha - history of Fatherland aviation" coin is 5 hryven, metal - nickel silver, weight 16.54 g, diameter 35 mm, proof quality. Mintagage 20 000 pcs. Coin is minted at the Mint of National Bank of Ukraine.

Kacha (Ukrainian and Russian: Кача; Crimean Tatar: Qaçı) — is a town on the Crimean peninsula. Administratively, Kacha is subordinate to the municipality of Sevastopol which does not constitute part of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Near the town is an airbase.
