The National Bank of Belarus on December 27th, 2012 puts into circulation new silver and copper-nickel commemorative coins “The Legend of the Bear” from the “Belarusian Folk Legends” series:

Silver coin – face value 20 rubles, purity 925, weight 33.62 g, diameter 38.61 mm;
CuNi coin - face value 1 ruble, weight 15.50 g, diameter 33.00 mm. Coins are round, the edge is reeded.

Coins are minted at Lithuanian Mint. The quality is: Ag coin – proof, CuNi coin – proof-like. Mintage: 2000 each. These coins are a legal tender of Belarus for all debts, public and private without any restriction.
