New Turkmenistan coins Akhalteke horse of the Turkmen

The Central Bank of Turkmenistan issued new 50 manat silver and gold commemorative coins “Akhalteke horse of the Turkmen”.

In honor of the Turkmen Horse Day, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan minted the collection series of numismatic rarities – set of memorable coins “Turkmenin ahalteke bedewi” (“Akhalteke horse of the Turkmen”) from gold and silver with a face value of 50 manats as well as certain gold and silver coins of analogous face value.

On the obverse of memorable coins minted by Mint place “The Royal Mint” of the Great Britain, there is the image of two Turkmen racers in the center on the background of mountain landscape. There is also a legend “Turkmenin ahalteke bedewi” in a circular above the coin and “Elli manat” at the bottom of it. On the left, it is indicated the standard of the coin and weight – on the right. The legends are divided from each other with octagons.

There is an image of the State Emblem of Turkmenistan in the center on the reverse of both coins. At the bottom, it was indicated the year of issue of rarities – “2013” and olive branches – on both sides. On the upper part, there is a legend “Turkmenistanyn Merkezi Banky” (“Central Bank of Turkmenistan”). Rarities with diameter of 38.61mm were minted from pure gold – 916.7 and silver – 925. Weight of numismatic new products is 39.94 and 28.28 grams correspondingly.

Number of the set of memorable coins came to 50 exemplars. Certain rarities from gold were minted in quantity of 150 pieces and number of silver – 250 exemplars. High quality of collection coins – “proof” is guaranteed with the certificate of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan attached to them.
