The National Bank of Kazakhstan has put into circulation 50 tenge coins "120 years of Mağjan Zhumabayev". Coins issued in circulation on 28th of May 2013.

Mağjan Jumabayev (Kazakh: Мағжан Бекенұлы Жұмабаев) was a prominent Qazaq writer and pedagogue, one of the modern Qazaq literature's founders.

Face value: 50 tenge;

Diameter – 31 mm, thickness – 2 mm, weight – 11,17 gram;

Averse: State Emblem of Kazakhstan; face value of the coin "50 ТЕҢГЕ"; "2013" means the year of coinage; name of issuing authority in Kazakh "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫҚ БАНКI".

Reverse: the image of the opened stylized book on which on right page Magzhan Zhumabayev's image is placed; on the left page an inscription «МАҒЖАН ЖҰМАБАЕВ 120 ЖЫЛ» in the state language, located in four lines.

The lateral surface (drove) is grooved;

Mintage: 100 000 pcs.
