The National Bank of Belarus on July 5th, 2013 puts into circulation new silver commemorative coin “The Carnation", from coin series Beauty of Flowers.
Face value of the silver coin is 10 roubles, purity 925, weight 14.14 g. diameter 32.00 mm, proof quality. Mintage 8000 pcs.
Obverse:
At the top — the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center — the relief image of the fragment of I. Khrutsky’s painting ‘Flowers and Fruits’ and the pad-printed image of the iris flower in the left; and circumferential inscriptions: at the top — РЭСПУБЛİКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS) and at the bottom — the denomination: 10 РУБЛЁЎ (10 RUBLES), the trademark of the Mint of Poland PLC, the year of issue, and the alloy standard.
Reverse:
In the center — the pad-printed image of the carnation flower against the relief image of the stylized carnation flower; and at the bottom — the inscription: DIANTHUS.
Coins are minted at the Mint of Poland.
