On March 25th 2014, the National Bank of Ukraine put into circulation the commemorative coin “75 Years of the Zaporizhia Oblast” 5 hryvnia face value, which continues the “Oblasts of Ukraine” series.

The coin was fabricated with making use of sophisticated bi-metal technology: outer circle – cupronickel alloy, inner circle – nordic (CuAl5Zn5Sn1), quality – “special uncirculated”, diameter – 28.0 mm, weight – 9.4 g, mintage – 20 000 pieces, edge – set of grooves.
