New Lithuanian coin dedicated to cinema

A 10 litas collectors’ silver coin dedicated to cinema was issued on 31st of March 2014.

The obverse of the coin features a stylized coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania, which is surrounded by the inscriptions LIETUVA 2014, 10 LITŲ. The mintmark of the Lithuanian Mint is impressed on the obverse of the coin.

On the reverse of the coin, a stylized composition of the cinema creation symbols — film cameras and film reels — is artistically depicted.

Earlier in the series were coins dedicated to Music (2010), Theatre (2011) and Fine Arts (2012)
