National Bank of Kazakhstan has released "Kokpar" commemorative coins under  Customs, national games of Kazakhstan coin series on October 24th 2014.

Kokpar is a national horse sports game where dexterity, strength, courage and daring of participants are tested.

50 tenge nickel silver coin.

Face value: 50 tenge;
Diameter – 31 mm, thickness – 2 mm, weight – 11,17 gram;
Mintage: 100 000 pcs.

Obverse: State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan against ornamental background; face value of the coin «50» and inscription «ТЕҢГЕ» at lower sector; inscriptions «ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ» in state language and «РЕСПУБЛИКА КАЗАХСТАН» in Russian along the circumferences; protruding edge along the circumference.

Reverse: an episode of the national horse game «Kokpar» against the image of aul (the traditional settlement of rural type) is imprinted; inscriptions «КӨКПАР»in state language and «2014» along the circumference  which means year of coinage; protruding edge along the circumference

500 tenge silver coin.

Face value: 500 tenge;
Quality: proof, metal - silver 0.925;
Diameter – 38.61 mm, weight – 31,1 gram;
Mintage: 3000 pcs.
