New Tajikistan coin 700th anniversary of Ali Hamadoni

The National Bank of Tajikistan has put into circulation  silver coin "700th anniversary of Ali Hamadoni".

Face value of the silver coin is , weight 31.1 g, diameter 38.61 mm, proof quality. Mintage 2.500 pcs. Year of issue: 2014.

Mir Syed Ali bin Shahab-ud-Din Hamadani (Persian: میر سید علی‎; 1314-1384) was a Persian Sūfī of the Kubrāwī order, a poet and a prominent Muslim scholar. He was born on Monday, 12th Rajab in 1314 in the Islamic year 714 AH in Hamadan[3] and died in 1384 and the in the Islamic year 786 in Kunar and was buried in Khatlan. He was very influential in spreading Islam in Kashmir and has had a major hand in shaping the culture of the Kashmir valley. He was also known as "Shāh Hamadhān" ("King of Hamadhān", Iran) and as Amīr-i Kabīr ("the Great Commander"). He wrote several short works on spirituality and Sufism. He was immortalised by poets like Allama Iqbal.

His name was Ali, and titles were Amir-e-Kabir, Ali Sa'ani, Shah-e-Hamadan and Mir. Besides them, the Chroniclers had mentioned several other titles: Qutub-e-Zaman, Sheikh-e-Salikan-e-Jehan, Qutub-Ulp-Aktab, Moih-Ul-Ambiya-o-Ul-Mursaleen, Afzal-Ul-Muhaq-e-qeen-o-Akmal-Ul-Mudaq-e-qeen, Al-Sheiyookh-Ul-Kamil, Akmal-Ul-Muhaqqiq-Ul-Hamadani etc.

Obverse: 
In the top part of outer circle the inscription of “REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN” in Tajik and in the bottom part in English are imprinted. Between these inscriptions on the left metal and fineness (Ag 925), and on the right the weight of the coin (31,1) are placed. The colored State Emblem of the Republic of Tajikistan and under it the figures of “500 Somoni” and “2014”, that show the denomination and issue year are printed in the centre of the circle.
 
Reverse: 
In the left side of outer circle the inscription of “ALI HAMADONI” in Tajik and in the right side the same inscription in English are imprinted. These two inscriptions are separated by point on the top and by figure “700” with national ornament in the bottom. The image of the Tajik-Persian poet and philosopher of the classical literature – Ali Hamadoni is impressed in the centre of the circle. The figure “1314” on the left and the figure “1384” on the right, that specify the birth and death dates of the poet.
