The Olympic Games coin has been minted to recognize the Olympic movement and the achievements of Estonian Olympic heroes over the years. The coin is a sequel to the silver Olympic Games coins issued in 1992 and 1996.

The obverse of the coin, depicts the national coat of arms of the Republic of Estonia, the text 'Eesti Vabariik', and the year of issuance, 2004.
Reverse:
The middle of the reverse bears the symbols of the Estonian Olympic Committee and the text '100 KROONI'.
