The National Bank of Kazakhstan has put into circulation 50 and 500 tenge coins from "Space" series dedicated to Venera - 10 spacecraft. Coins are issued in circulation on December 25th 2015.

50 tenge CuNi coin.
Face value: 50 tenge;
Diameter – 31 mm, thickness – 2 mm, weight – 11,17 gram;
The lateral surface (drove) is grooved with 10 sectors of corrugation;
Mintage: 100.000 pcs.

Obverse: the composition symbolized the unity of human being with the world and the connection between the past and present; the face value of the coin "50 ТЕҢГЕ"; trade mark of Kazakhstan Mint; two inscriptions "ҚАЗАҚСТАН РЕСПУБЛИКАСЫ" and "REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN".

Reverse: the image of the Venera-10 spacecraft on its approach to the planet Venus and year of coinage «2015»; inscriptions «Венера-10» in state language and «VENERA-10» in English.

Lateral surface is grooved.

500 tenge silver coin.
Face value: 500 tenge;
Quality: proof, bimetal - silver 0.925 14.6 g. and tantalum 26.8 g.
Diameter – 38.61 mm, weight – 41,4 gram;
Mintage: 3000 pcs.

Bi-colored (composite) coin is made with the use of tantalum, the metal which is widely used in the space industry. Over coin production the technology of change of color of tantalum is applied. Commemorative coins "Venera-10" finishes a series of "Space" coins.

Bi-colored (composite) coin has the round form consisted of the concentric situated ring and disk. The internal disk of coin is made of tantalum, with application of technology of changing color on purple, an external ring from silver.
