Nasriddin is the folklore character of the Uzbek fairy tales and a hero of the short comic and satirical miniatures of the people of the Muslim East. An ability to solve the situation by the only means of the word is the deferential peculiarity of Nasreddin’s character. Simulant ignorance and logic of absurdity are the main practices of Nasriddin. The burro that appears in many parables as Afandi’s companion became an integral part of an image of Nasriddin.
