New Turkmenistan coins 20th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan

The Central Bank of Turkmenistan issued the coin proof set in honor of the 20th anniversary of the international legal status of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan. It will be a wonderful gift for numismatists in Turkmenistan and foreign countries.

The coin proof set includes the gold and silver 50-manat coins. The emblem of neutrality - the globe with the map of Turkmenistan coated with green enamel, the snow-white dove of peace hovering in the sky and the State Flag of Turkmenistan and the flag of the United Nations flattering in the wind is depicted in the centre of the obverse side. This composition symbolizes the high status of the Turkmen state as the peace-making centre and the core of the peaceful foreign-policy course of our country.

The gilded Roman figure XX that symbolizes the remarkable date is depicted to the right of the symbol of the year 2015 that was declared the Year of Neutrality and Peace in our country. The inscription ÝAŞASYN GARAŞSYZ, BAKY BITARAP TÜRKMENISTAN is placed around the upper part and the inscription 2015 ý – in the lower part of the coin. The inscriptions are separated from each other by the eight pointed star.

By tradition, the relief image of the State Emblem of Turkmenistan is depicted in the centre of the reverse side. The inscription TÜRKMENISTANYŇ MERKEZI BANKY is placed around the upper part and the inscription ELLI MANAT in the lower part of the coins. The inscriptions are separated from each other by the eight pointed star. The metal samples of the gold and silver coins - Au 916.7 and Ag 925 are depicted on the left side and the weight of the coins - 39,94 and 28,28 grams respectively – on the right side.

The coins minted at the Royal Mint Limited in the United Kingdom are 38.61 millimetres in diameter each.
