The National Bank of Belarus on August 14th, 2017 issued into circulation new silver and copper-nickel commemorative coins “Crested lark” of the “Bird of the year” series:
Silver coin – face value 10 rubles, purity 925, weight 16.81 g, diameter 32 mm, mintage 1000 pcs., quality proof;
CuNi coin -face value 1 ruble, weight 13.16 g, diameter 32.00 mm, mintage 2000 pcs., quality proof-like;
Obverse:
At the top — the relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center — the representation of a small bird held in the palms, beneath — the year of issue (the alloy standard shown on the silver coin); and circumferential inscriptions: at the top — РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ (THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS) and at the bottom — the denomination: 10 РУБЛЁЎ (10 RUBLES) on the silver coin and 1 РУБЕЛЬ (1 RUBLE) on the copper-nickel one.
Reverse:
On the center — the relief image of the Crested lark and circumferential inscriptions: on the left side - ЖАЎРУК-СМЯЦЮХ (CRESTED LARK) and on the right side— ПТУШКА ГОДА (BIRD OF THE YEAR).
