New Ukrainian coin Ancient Halych

On August 22nd, 2017, the National Bank of Ukraine put the commemorative coin "Ancient Halych" of 5 hryvnia face value under Ancient cities of Ukraine coin series into circulation.
This coin is dedicated to the ancient Galician city, one of the largest centers of Kievan Rus. Galich was the capital of Galician principality and Galicia-Volyn state major economic, political and cultural center, which developed crafts, trade, civil and church building was composed Galicia-Volyn chronicle.
Obverse:
At the top of the small State Emblem of Ukraine and the inscription UKRAINE, centered on dark background - a fragment of ceramic tiles from Griffin (XII c.) To the left of where vertical inscription - UAH 5, bottom right - the year of issue 2017 and the logo Banknote -monetary yard of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reverse:
On the coin depicts a stylized composition: against the reconstruction of the ancient city Horseman - Danylo Galician; At the top - the emblem of the city, to the right of which the inscription - GALICH / DAY.
The coin is made from German silver, quality− “special uncirculated”, weight – 16.54 g, diameter – 35.0 mm, mintage – 40.000 pieces. The coin edge is grooved.
