100 Years since the Creation of the Ukrainian Navy

Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Ukrainian Navy`. At the beginning of 1918, the Central Rada adopted a number of important naval laws, which at that time had declarative character, including one of the most important ones - the "Provisional Law on the Navy". On April 29, 1918, Admiral M. Sablin, commander of the Black Sea Fleet, took into account the mood of the majority of Ukrainian sailors, officially proclaimed the Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol and the Crimea as a UNR fleet and ordered the Ukrainian flag to be raised. This day became outstanding for the Ukrainian state fleet and the holiday of the Ukrainian sea, the day when the whole Ukrainian fleet showed its affiliation with the Motherland.

Obverse: 
On the obverse, the coin is placed on top of a matte background: the Small State Emblem of Ukraine, to the left of which there are vertical inscriptions: UKRAINE and face value - 10 ГРИВЕНЬ; year of issue - 2018; on the right on the mirror background - a stylized flag of the Ukrainian Navy of those times and an armature of the warship on the waves, to the left of which is the logo of the Banknote-Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reverse: 
On the reverse of the coin there is an inscription 100 on the background of stylized waves, at the zeros of which is a wind rose (a vector diagram describing wind directions) and a trident attached to an anchor, on both sides of which years: 1918, 2018. The inscriptions are: CREATION OF UKRAINIAN ( above), MILITARY-MARITIME FLOT (below).
