3000th Anniversary of the Georgian Statehood
The silver and copper-nickel 10 lari denomination commemorative coins dedicated to the 3000th Anniversary of the Georgian Statehood are for numismatic purposes and are not legal tender in Georgia.
Obverse:
The obverse features the denomination numeral "10" in the center with the inscription "lari." The edge is circled with the marginal legend: "NATIONAL BANK OF GEORGIA - 2000."
Reverse:
The reverse features bas-reliefs of the eagle and lion from the 11th century Svetitskhoveli cathedral (as the symbols of state strength). The composition is finalized by a leaf ornament and seven stars. The coin is circled with the legend that reads "3000th Anniversary of the Georgian Statehood."
