Medzhybizh castle fortress

A memorable coin dedicated to one of the oldest fortifications, erected in the picturesque corner of Khmelnytskyi, on the cape, formed by the Southern Bug and the Bugok - Medzhybizh castle fortress. The fortress changed its owners and features for centuries, but remained a legendary monument.

On the obverse of the coin there is the inscription: UKRAINE, underneath which the small State Emblem of Ukraine, on both sides of which numbers 20 and 18, is in the center of the composition: a shield with the image of a tower, on both sides of which is a stylized map of the area with the inscriptions: the river God (on the left ), the village of God (right) - ancient spelling of the names of the rivers, below the inscription on the ribbon - UKRAINIAN WEIGHT OF EUROPE; Face value - 5 / ГРИВЕНЬ; to the left is the logo of the Banknote-Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Reverse: 
On the reverse of the coin depicts the mighty Medjibiz fortress (a view from the height of the bird's flight), the inscription: MEDZHIBYZKA FORTEKSII XII-XVII ST.
