10 years of independence of Kazakhstan
Date of issue: 13 October 2001. Edge: 10 sectors of corrugation. Coin devoted to the 10 years of Independence of Kazakhstan. Coin is made using "reverse proof" technology. Averse of the coin is usual UNC, reverse of the coin is "reverse proof".
Obverse:
On the face of the coin (averse), on its upper side the state emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan is located and under it there is a two-line inscription "50 ТЕҢГЕ". From the right and left side of the denomination there is the element of national ornament. On the circumference there is the legend "ҚАЗАҚСТАН YЛТТЫҚ БАНКI" (National Bank of Kazakhstan).
Reverse:
On the back side of the coin the official emblem of the celebration of the 10 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the figure "2001" are represented, which indicates the year of coinage. On the circumference there is an obtrusive edging.
