To the left of the image there is a composition consisting of piled books and a submachine gun; the upper book is open and it could be read the text in Cyrillic: "ЛЮДИ С ЧИСТОЙ СОВЕСТЬЮ" (PEOPLE WITH CLEAR CONSCIENCE) in Russian. An inscription "П.П. ВЕРШИГОРА" (P.P. VERSHIGORA) in Cyrillic is written in semicircle above the image, an inscription "1905-1963" indicating his life time is at the bottom.
