Obverse:
the top –the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center – a geometric composition based on the national floral ornament, symbolizing the growth of cities in harmony with the environment that reflects the theme of the exhibition "EXPO–2010" – "Better City – Better Life"; at the bottom the inscriptions – 20 РУБЛЁЎ (TWENTY ROUBLES), fine silver alloy standard, year of issue; at the top – the inscription along the rim – "РЭСПУБЛIКА–БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS).
Reverse:
on the other side of the coin there are images of the most recognizable buildings, which over the years had been a symbol of international exhibitions and a year in which they held: The Crystal Palace of the first World Exposition, held in London in 1851, the Eiffel Tower, for an exhibition held in Paris in 1889; panorama of Shanghai, with a recognizable image of a television tower, which will host the World Exposition 2010, at the top along the rim the name of the World Expo, in Belarusian and English languages: ЭКСПА 2010 ("EXPO 2010") and EXPO 2010.
