On the coin obverse there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine in the middle of the beads circumference decoration, framed with guelder-rose sprays. Above the State Emblem there is the year of issue - 1995. Around the coins circumference there are inscriptions: УКРАЇНА - at the coins upper part and 200000 КАРБОВАНЦІВ - at the lower part.
Reverse: 
On the coin reverse there is the globe with flags of world states upon it and UN-50 - emblem. Around the coins circumference, there are inscriptions: NATIONS UNITED FOR PEACE - at the upper part and НАЦІЇ, ОБ'ЄДНАНІ ЗАРАДИ МИРУ - at the lower part.
