Commemorative coin is dedicated to the restoration of St.Michael's Golden-Domed Cathedral, historical and architectural monument of Rus-Ukraine of 12th-18th centuries. In circulation since December 3, 1998.

Obverse: 
On the coin obverse within a frame reproducing the vegetal ornamental pattern of the Eucharist mosaic from the cathedra,  there is a depiction of the Small State Emblem of Ukraine and a four line legend: УКРАЇНА, 10 ГРИВЕНЬ, 1998 and designation of precious metal - Ag 925 and its pure weight -31,1.  
Reverse: 
On the coin reverse against a background of the picture of St.Michael's Golden-Domed Cathedral, there are silhouettes of the twelve apostles from the symbolic communion scene of the Eucharist mosaic. On the coin there is a legend: МИХАЙЛІВСЬКИЙ ЗОЛОТОВЕРХИЙ СОБОР XII СТ.
