Larix Polonica Racib

Commemorative coin is dedicated to Larix Polonica Racib ( Pinaceae family), a disapearing species of precious softwood conifer which is widespread in Ukrainian Carpathian mountains and is entered into the Red Book of Ukraine. Larix Polonica Racib is cultivated in forests, parks and botanical gardens, in particular, in Kedrynskiy and Skyt Maniavskiy forest reserves. In circulation since November 26, 2001.

On the coin obverse within the frame of a garland made of depictions of various species of flora and fauna, there is the small State Emblem of Ukraine and four-line inscription: УКРАЇНА, 10, ГРИВЕНЬ, 2001-  as well as designation of metal and its standard - Ag 925 and its pure weight - 31.1 and the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine
Reverse: 
On the coin reverse there is a depiction of a conifer twig with a cone and circular inscriptions: МОДРИНА ПОЛЬСЬКА, above and LARIX POLONICA RACIB, beneath.
