Stork
Dedicated to a white stork, one of two species of the stork family in the fauna of Ukraine. In circulation since April 23, 2004.
Obverse:
On the coin obverse within the beads circle there is the small State emblem of Ukraine is depicted, above which there is 2004, the coin mintage year; between the beads circle and the coin rim there are circular inscriptions УКРАЇНА (above), 2 Г РИВНІ (beneath), as well as designation of metal Au 999,9 (left), its mass 1,24 and the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine (right).
Reverse:
On the coin reverse within the beads circle there is a depiction of a stork taking wing; between the coin external rim and the beads circle there are circular inscriptions: ЛЕЛЕКА (above) CICONIA CICONIA (beneath).
