The coin is dedicated to 140^th anniversary of Mykhailo Kotsubynsky (1864 – 1913), a talented Ukrainian writer and a public figure who was born in the city of Vinnitsa. Mykhailo M. Kotsubynsky is the author of such famous works as: "Fata morgana", "Intermezzo", "Laughter",  "Apple Blossom" and " Shades of the forgotten ancestors", which are bright patterns of the Ukrainian prose of the end of 19th - beginning of 20th centuries. In circulation since August 20, 2004.
