Obverse:
within the circular geometric ornament – the relief of the State Coat of Arms of the Republic of Belarus; in the center – a solar sign consisting of octagonal geometrical figure with elements of rhombic decor, symbolizing solar rays; beneath – year of issue, silver coin – fine silver alloy standard; inscriptions along the rim – at the top "РЭСПУБЛIКА БЕЛАРУСЬ" (REPUBLIC OF BELARUS), at the bottom "ДВАЦЦАЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ" (TWENTY ROUBLES) on the silver coin and "АД3IН РУБЕЛЬ" (ONE ROUBLE) on the copper–nickel coin.
Reverse:
in the center against a background of natural landscape – the relief of Kalyady’s star (with inset of synthetic crystal of blue color on silver coin); in the left–hand and right–hand parts – relieves of Belarussian national ornament with elements of motifs of Kalyady festival; at the bottom –inscription along the rim – "КАЛЯДЫ" (KALYADY).
