The National Bank of Ukraine has put into circulation 2 hryvni "Scythian Gold. Deer" coin on June 30th, 2011. The gold memorial coin Scythian Gold - Deer (999.9 standard) is dedicated to the Scythian jewelry item - a gold plate with the deer depicted on it (VII - VI century B.C.). The coin will continue a series named The Smallest Gold Coin.

Face value of new "Scythian Gold. Deer" coin is 2 hryvni , metal - gold, purity 0.9999, weight 1.24 g, diameter 13.92 mm, brilliant uncirculated quality. Mintagage 10 000 pcs. Coin is minted at the Mint of National Bank of Ukraine.
